Past Projects
Below is a sample of my past projects. I've been involved in various capacities on these projects. Some as product / project owner, others as producer, content creation, or strategic contributor. Reach out to chat with me further about my capabilities on creating impactful learning experiences.
I’ve spent my career driving strategic initiatives in learning and development, fostering positive user experiences, and employing innovative learning technologies. My experience has allowed me to develop a strong record of stakeholder collaboration. I'm committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace, understanding that a supportive environment fosters the most impactful learning experiences. Below is a small sample of my work in this area.
Learning Experience Design Work
National School Board Association
This is was a learning experience built in the Evolve authoring tool. It was a full learning journey for candidates running for School Board. The course was designed to help new candidates learn the expectations of serving on the School Board.
Unconscious Bias Program
These are video lessons that I produced as part of a program on Unconscious Bias. These videos are a fraction of the learning content, but are a good representation of the learning experience. The work to get to the finished product of what you see here was based on the following:
Learner-Centered Approach: Began with a needs assessment with the stakeholder and by understanding who the audience would be, what motivates them, their prior knowledge, and their learning needs. Created learner personas to help.
Learning Objectives: Clearly defined what learners should know or be able to do by the end of the experience. These objectives were used to guide the design process and provide a means for evaluating the learning experience.
Content Curating and Structuring: Gather relevant content from the SME, then organize it in a logical and coherent manner. During this phase, I created storyboards for each of the lessons (like the one shown on this page)
Design to Inspire Learner Engagement: Designed activities, challenges, and content that captivate learners based on the personas in step one. Incorporated a variety of content options including storytelling, video, interactive exercises, and real-world applications to keep learners engaged.
Iteration and Evaluation: Continually assessed and refined the learning experience based on feedback from learners, performance data, and evolving needs. I used a few survey check-ins throughout the journey to gather insights and was able to course correct immediately based on trends and feedback.
I managed the entire project from start to finish. For the voiceovers, I outsourced this to professional voice talent. All other aspects of the program and learning experience build was done and managed by me. The program was well received and ultimately became part of a larger DEI certification program.

The Power of Clarity
I created the CLEAR Path model to assist with the needs analysis phrase of solution engineering. This tool became a simple way to transform ambiguity into actionable clarity. I've found it helps ensure solutions are tailored to meet organizational and learner needs. You can learn more about this model in the below image or take a deeper dive in the Power of Clarity post.
Throughout my career, I've been driven by a singular passion: to forge transformative experiences that intimately connect customers (whether internal or external) to value. I firmly believe that the lifeblood of a thriving customer education program is its capacity to ignite utilization. By crafting experiences that resonate, I've not only educated but also empowered customers, turning knowledge into tangible actions and results.
Customer Education Work
Indeed Academy was a customer facing education program designed to help level up recruiters with better and more impactful utilization of the products and recruiter experience. I implemented the program from the ground up and experienced a 20x growth rate in the first 18 months.
This was a promotional video from a project I launched. This was for Indeed Academy, the company's customer education learning platform.
Below is a sample of the many learning platform projects I've worked on. I have 15+ years experience in LMS implementation and maintenance (Cornerstone, Workday, Totara/Moodle, Intellum, Docebo, Absorb, LearnUpon, 360Learning, Blackboard, LearnWorlds, and more) as well as LXPs like Degreed, Stream, Valamis, and EdCast.
LMS and LXP Work
LearningU is an online learning language solution. I was the product owner of a test prep program that simulated an English proficiency language test. The test included four sections:
Reading
Recognizing the profound impact of mindfulness on educators, I partnered with an organization to build a groundbreaking mindfulness platform for the teachers of Nevada. More than just a platform, it became a haven of learning experiences, arming educators with holistic professional development tools, and fostering a culture of mindfulness and growth in the academic realm.
Listening
Speaking
Writing
In addition to test simulation, we built 80 hours of test prep content to assist learners in understanding key learning objectives associated with each section of the test.
As an advocate for equal educational opportunities, I was the Product Lead that created the Kentucky Virtual High School network - the nation's first Virtual High School system.
This trailblazing LMS seamlessly connected districts across Kentucky, shattering geographical barriers and ushering in unparalleled educational access to even most remote communities.

Oracle iLearning
CU Online
Pioneering the digital education landscape, I played an instrumental role in the establishment of the University of Colorado Online (CU Online) - the nation's premier full online university.
What commenced as isolated courses soon grew into comprehensive degree programs, bringing quality education to the fingertips of over 25,000 online students, marking a transformative moment in higher education.
At the beginning of corporate education innovation, I was pivotal in the creation of Oracle iLearning, one of the earliest corporate Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Conceived and cultivated internally at Oracle, this revolutionary system was not just an in-house triumph but became a beacon for Fortune 500 companies, enabling them to effectively train employees during intricate Oracle implementations.
